Determining what to keep and what to get rid of isn’t always easy.
Most people have a sentimental side to them, which is why many of us end up with garages, attics and storage units filled with items. If you take the time to get rid of what you no longer need, it’ll make your move a whole lot easier, but we know that it’s not always easy to decide what you should keep and what you should get rid of. That’s why, in our Deltona movers’ last blog, we gave you a few questions to ask yourself to help you decide. Here are a few more important questions to ask yourself:
#4. Do I have more than one?
If you have more than one of a particular item, get rid of the extra one! This also applies to items that aren’t the same but are similar or perform the same function. For example, if you have a toaster and a toaster oven, you probably don’t need both!
#5. Did I have to dig to find it?
If you found the item by digging around in the dark corners of your closet or a forgotten corner of your storage unit, then there’s a good chance that you probably don’t need it.
#6. Do I like it?
Although this one may seem like a no-brainer, we all have old birthday and holiday gifts lying around that we don’t even really like. Don’t hold on to something just to spare someone’s feelings. Get rid of it!
We have just a few more questions that you can ask yourself to help you determine what to keep and what to toss. Stay tuned for our next blog to learn more.
