#4. Never run extension cords through doors or windows.

Finding enough outlets for all of your decorations isn’t always easy, and this leads some people to start using outlets outside and long extension cords run through cracked windows and doors. #5. Use a ladder, and make sure you use it properly.

People will use all kinds of makeshift stools to hang their decorations, but you should never stand on anything unless are 100% sure that it is sturdy and you have someone with you to hold it steady. Always use a ladder when you can, and always make sure that you use it properly to avoid accidents.
